Lesson structure
We meet for lessons at 11am (10am for complete beginners as we’ll run a theory session on land first), get kitted up, and take the boats south to the kite spot (about a 10min drive). We can offer some flexibility with start time for private lessons, but we recommend sticking to the advised times to make sure you get the best conditions.
Once we’re on the water we’ll assess your riding and work on your goals. We don’t have fixed length lessons, but most students will do around 3hrs of kiting and we’re generally back in the harbour between 4 and 5pm.
At the end of your lesson/course we’ll register you for an internationally recognised IKO license that confirms your ability level. Have one already? We can update it to show your progression. Many kite-rental locations around the world require this certification before they will rent equipment to you.
What to bring with you:
- Sun cream
- Sun hat
- Sunglasses
- Bottle of water
- A snack to eat on the boat in case you get hungry
