All our second-hand kite gear has been used for a maximum of one season, and only in fresh water on Lake Como. We take great care of our equipment: It’s never left out in the sun or on a beach, and it never comes in to contact with the land (except when we are re-setting kites at the end of each day). What this means? Many, many more years of use in it if you take good care of it too.
