Beginner Kitesurf Lessons
New to kitesurfing? Start your journey with our beginner kitesurf course at 414 Kiting.
We keep groups small (max 3 students) and tailor each session to your pace. Whether you’re trying it for a day or wanting a multi-day course, you’ll get expert instruction, plenty of kite time, and steady progression—all in some of Europe’s most scenic spots.

What to Expect When You Learn To Kitesurf
Day 1 – Kitesurfing Basics
Safety, theory, and kite control on land, followed by your first water session (body dragging and kite handling).
Day 2 – Body Dragging & Board Starts
Practice advanced body dragging and begin getting up on the board.
Day 3 – Riding & Kite Control
Work on riding in both directions and controlling the kite while on the board.
Most students are riding both directions by day 3. Riding upwind independently usually takes 5–7 days.
Typical Beginner Lesson
10:00 – Meet for theory
You’ll get around 3 hours of kiting per day, and each student has their own kite for maximum water time.
