What to Expect When You Learn To Kitesurf

Day 1 – Kitesurfing Basics
Safety, theory, and kite control on land, followed by your first water session (body dragging and kite handling).

Day 2 – Body Dragging & Board Starts
Practice advanced body dragging and begin getting up on the board.

Day 3 – Riding & Kite Control
Work on riding in both directions and controlling the kite while on the board.

Most students are riding both directions by day 3. Riding upwind independently usually takes 5–7 days.

12:00 – Head out onto the water
~16:00-17:00 – Back in the harbour
