Advanced kitesurf coaching sessions – find you kiting A-Game

If you’re looking for advanced kitesurf lessons then our kitesurf coaching sessions are for you.

Lake Como is a great spot for more advanced riders who are just looking for somewhere with more space to practice bigger and better things. If you already ride in both directions and go upwind consistently, but want to know how to make transitions like the pros, learn to jump, loop, or even air transition on a strapless surfboard then get in touch.

We see a lot of kiters who get good at the basics of riding, but struggle to know what to try next – that’s what coaching is for!

What’s included:

  • No-wind-no-fee guarantee
  • Unlimited time on the water
  • All equipment including kite, board, wetsuit, harness, buoyancy aid, and helmet. You’re welcome to use your own too, but we have a great range of kit for you to try out.
  • Theory session & riding assessment
  • IKO instructor & an IKO certification at the end of your course

Not quite right for you? We also offer kite foil and wing foil lessons, as well as group and private kitesurf lessons.

Lesson structure

We meet for lessons at 11am, get kitted up, and take the boats south to the kite spot (about a 10min drive). The wind normally starts blowing at about midday. Depending on your goals we may also do some on-land theory before we head out so that you have a solid base to work from.

Out on the water, we’ll get you on a kite as soon as the wind picks up. Everyone gets their own kite for the duration of their lesson, making sure you have maximum time to progress. We’ll look at where you are with your riding, and work on perfecting your skills and helping you reach your goals.

Most people will ride for around 3hrs before their energy runs out, and we are generally back in the harbour between 4 and 5pm.

At the end of your session, we’ll register you for an internationally recognised IKO license that confirms your ability level. Have one already? We can update it to show your progression. Many kite-rental locations around the world require this certification before they will rent equipment to you.

What to bring with you:

  • Sun cream
  • Bottle of water
  • A snack to eat on the boat in case you get hungry
